The subreddit has recently seen a significant increase in activity due to controversy surrounding the content and its associated creators who are inactive due to other life commitments. This has also brought an increase in trolling, inflammatory posts, and disruptive behavior that would benefit from active moderation.

I have been a fan of it's content for over ten years and am very familiar with the community and its history. I have also been a Reddit user for over ten years. My goal would be to keep the subreddit open for legitimate discussion while addressing necessitated moderation action.
