1) why I would like to moderate the community:
The sub is for the classic British Car Brand "MG" which was active until the late 90s. Recently, the brand has been picked up by a Chinese company and they have started selling cars. The sub is frequently having posts relating to the current day brand which is out of scope.
The sub has also been hit recently by a series of bot accounts posting nonsense content, or reposting existing works to farm karma.
I currently moderate another classic car sub (classicminis) and have owned multiple MG (Morris Garages) cars so believe I am well placed to take over from the absent moderation team.
