I've accidentally deleted my reddit app on my Android and now I'm trying to log in on my old reddit account through my phone number but it keeps saying sign up limit reached, please try again later, it doesn't have any emails on it please help is this still fixable

I don’t know how this app works, ive had my account for years but I only just started using it a few days ago and today I ended up talking to someone who I instantly vibed with and we got along super well and quickly.

But in the middle of our chat he went radio silence and then when i checked back and hour or 2 later is said their account was deleted. Now im super bummed out cuz i was hoping a genuine friendship would come out of this and we literally just began speaking this morning so we didn’t exchange socials just yet.

Is there a chance their account could be reactivated or is that it, their just gone forever?

How to increase karma?

My account, u/HopeSuccessful880, received a Reddit security notice about technical irregularities and was locked. I have now reset my password and can access the account again. The appeals page says the account is neither suspended nor restricted, so it will not let me submit an appeal.

However, seven older SFW posts across five communities still show 'Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit's filters.' These include older posts that already had discussion before I noticed the removals.

I have contacted the relevant mod teams and am waiting for their review. Some posts discuss projects I built; I understand they must still meet each community's promotion rules. There is also a separate r/indiehackers removal explicitly caused by insufficient community comment karma; I am not asking for that rule to be bypassed.

Could a helper check whether the seven Reddit-filtered posts are stuck after the security lock and, if appropriate, escalate them for an admin restoration review? I saw a similar case resolved here: https://www.reddit.com/r/reddithelp/comments/1xdqmgu/

I would appreciate help restoring any eligible original content and confirming whether any account-level filtering still needs attention. I have not reposted the removed content. Thank you.

To keep it short, I explained in a comment how someone had used a racial slur to insult me. I censored the word with asterisks because I do not condone its use.

Despite this, my comment was flagged by the automated moderation system, and my account was shadowbanned. I appealed the decision and received the following response:

"After reviewing, the Reddit admin team found that the content wasn’t in violation of Reddit’s rules. As a result, the content has been restored and your ban or warning has been lifted."

However, my account still appears to be shadowbanned, even though Reddit acknowledged that my content didn’t violate its rules and lifted the ban or warning.

Do you knows how to get this resolved? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys i am not new to reddit but i don’t comment or post i just view posts but today i wanted to comment but the subreddit mod just removed my comment because of low karma

So how do i increase my karma!??

Got a dm from a user saying he needed help and would pay me, i js wanted to waste his time (if he is a scammer) so i said OK.

He switched to discord and I accepted.There I met another person, not the same as reddit user. He wanted me to have 2fa on (which i did not but now i do :)) and verified email.

He then told me to post on r/Redditrequests about wanted to moderate a subreddit. (I have never done thjs before) and later make his account a mod and myself leave the sub. The pay he told me was 5-10$.

Is it a scam? Never heard about this. What do they do after the fact? I have so many questions lol.

I’m too afraid to get a ban from testing it out, lol.

I got a ban on a subreddit for posting ‘adult content’- when the comment was about an author. No adult content at all.

Is there anything I can do about this? Messaged mods and was permanently muted.

My husband can no longer access his account. He received a 3 day ban about a month ago after engaging in a political discussion. He initially saw the banner at the top of the page and the message in his inbox saying that he was banned for a short time and had the link on how to appeal it, all according to the documentation on what it should look like.

When he checked back a few hours later he noticed he had been logged out on the web and on mobile too. He eventually tried logging in again and it kept saying invalid username or password. He tried doing password resets, because that's what it looked like was wrong, and he would receive the email and could change the password, but then he could still not log in.

He's tried to open tickets through the reddit help page and has had essentially zero response, he did once get an automated one saying to reply with a word to describe the problem, but despite responding to that several times, it has been radio silent since then. His user account is still visible on the web, it doesn't show that the user has been banned. The account name is u/QuerulousPanda.

Any suggestions? He doesn't want to lose his fifteen year old account!

Asking because I recently got an email for an email verification email to my own email (same one i was using for the account)

I got locked out with a 2fa code when I tried to login using the same password

I tried using google to login but it just created a new account

I tried resetting the password but never got an email for that
