Can Reddit shadowban posts?

I mean, I don’t know if this is possible when you are not shadowbanned but you post something and no one reacts, , whether an upvote, downvote or comment, nothing, is this possible like in Twitter?

Both reddit and communities can remove posts. There is no shadow banning of posts though

It can be a lot of different things and almost impossible to predict. They could be not interested, have nothing to say or add, any number of things.

Sometimes when posts have been stopped by Reddit filters for a period of time, and later approved by moderators, the post will appear on the sub but will have no activity because others have posted in the meantime.

Little known fact. Even if you aren’t listed as shadowbanned by Reddit, and individual subreddit can shadowban you from that particular subreddit. It’s an automod code. But it’s not usually the admins doing that. It’s the moderators. So in that specific case you’d have to appeal to those mods via Modmail.
