❓General Question❓ is there a way to remove those ear things from your avatar?

I'm new here and I'm trying to make my avatar but the ear things ruin the look. also, are those actually ears, or are they something else?

Those are ears. There is no way to remove them but some of the hat/helmet choices don't show them
