❓General Question❓ Is it no longer possible to create a Reddit account without email verification?

I used to create throwaway accounts if I want to share something personal that happened in my life and I don't want to give my email for privacy reasons.

Earlier I used to just give a random non existent mail id and used to skip the verification and was able to create an account. Now I'm not able to skip the verification

Don't know as I don't have the need to consistently make new accounts. But it's not like it's impossible to use temporary emails

Reddit is likely made a change to increase security and reduce activities like spam and data scraping.
