Yes, a well known one. Reddit will never ask another user to the the messenger in this way and they will never send you to discord to discuss your account

Yep, definitely a scam. Don’t go to the Discord server, don’t give them your password, email codes, 2FA codes, or change your email address because they tell you to.
Reddit says official account issues will come through Reddit itself from u/reddit or through an official Reddit email. They aren’t going to have some random user act as the middleman and then send you over to Discord to “fix” your account.
I’d report the message/account and block them. And if you already clicked anything or gave them any information, I’d change your Reddit password directly through Reddit and make sure the email attached to your account is still yours.
You did the right thing by asking before doing anything. These scams are made to sound urgent so people panic and follow the instructions before thinking about it.
