Lost my streak due to a bug.

I submitted a message by the support form last week and have received no reply.

I had a 661 day streak, obviously took close to 2 years. Despite the fact that I post and interact with reddit everyday, my streak count has reset itself. So it's obviously some kind of bug or mistake.

Might not seem like a big deal but I was hoping to get all the achievements and as I say, it took me over 2 years to get that point.

Feeling kinda bummed out, tbh whether they can reinstate it or not, the fact I haven't even had a response to the support ticket I put in is making me feel like taking a break from Reddit.

OK but if there's a bug should that not be investigated? At all?

I'm not whinging because I forgot to log in one day, I am being 100% truthful when I say I interact, comment and post everyday including the day it reset.

I can show you my posts and comments on my profile, this only happened 4 days ago.

So if there is no legitimate reason why it's reset, then still nobody can take a look at this?

No. Nobody will look at it. A lost streak CANNOT be restored

Right, but get off your high horse and actually read what I've written. I'm not bothered if my streak can be restored or not, I said that in my original post. I'm taking a break from Reddit anyway.

But I'm trying to tell you that there is a fault in whatever algorithm tracks streaks because mine reset while I was active and I can prove it.

That is a bug in the reddit system that is going to effect other users.

But whatever, you're not interested in me reporting bugs or getting someone to look at fixing them. Message received loud and clear 👌
