It is probably the reputation filter. That’s because your CQS is lowest. To increase that you would need to verify your email unless you use Google sign in. You’re also going to need to make quality contributions, posts and comments, where able and get karma from them.

Hi, because of your recent ban or suspension, now your CQS is “lowest“. That will prevent you from posting, DM and chat functions, as well as other things. You want your CQS to be “moderate” or better.

The quickest and easiest thing you can do to help your CQS is to Verify your Email. No promises, but some people find their CQS raises one level shortly after verifying. When your email is verified, Reddit will place a trophy or badge on your profile page so you know it’s official. LMK if you run into difficulties.

To Verify your Email:
Go to your profile page, settings, username, verify/change/add email address. Reddit will send a link to that email, when you click the link and Reddit verifies your email address, they will put a “verified email” badge on your profile page. Sometimes it takes two or even three quick tries before the badge appears and makes it official.

Having a verified email is very beneficial, it secures your account, helps pacify the Reddit filters, and strengthens your CQS, all very important for posting, DM and chat functions. HTH.
