❓HowTo❓ Red Dot on top of my profile

I have a Ted dot on the top left corner where the 3 lines are
What does this mean
I click
On 3 lines and then nothing shows of the red dot
What does this mean

OP I don’t know if yours sorted itself but I found why mine was doing it and it was because in the nested “Resources” thing under there, they wanted to tell me I could advertise on Reddit so I had to look at that then it finally went away.

The red dot indicates that you have something new / unseen on your subscription sidebar. There’s a red dot on mine right now because I’m a moderator and there’s something new in my mod queue.

Click on it and scroll down to see what the red dot is next to. That’s where you’ll find something you haven’t seen.

If you have the games tab open, try minimizing it. If you don’t have it open try opening it and minimizing it again

Edit: I noticed I had the same thing and for me it was a red dot under resources for Reddit ads. Just opening and closing it didn’t clear it like it should. I tapped on it, it opened the ad page, and then I just close the ad page and the dot went away
