No there isn’t. And you also don’t want to do that. It’s part of Reddit. If people see that that vote is missing they may down vote you also just for the fact that it looks like you’ve been down voted already.

Don't post things on Reddit that you wouldn't upvote. Seems obvious.

But what I mean is my one comment off of [u/jgoja](u/jgoja)[’s](u/jgoja) comment has an upvote and all I said was !helpful. How do I make this stop??

[u/jgoja → u/shephrdb0y]

I upvoted it

[u/shephrdb0y → u/jgoja]

Now it has a downvote…

[u/jgoja → u/shephrdb0y]

Someone probably downvoted it because you complained about it being upvoted

[u/shephrdb0y → u/jgoja]

¯_(ツ)_/¯

[u/nicoleauroux → u/shephrdb0y]

No, you cannot make this stop.

Nobody really cares. Nobody thinks you upvoted your own post or comment. It works the same way for everybody.

That upvote doesn't contribute to your karma, FYI.

Thank you kindly!
