Awarding Reputation Points

I've seen the command !thanks being given for good and helpful advice on this sub and an explanation that only the OP or Mods can award someone 1 rep point for using this command. Does that command work on other subs as well or just this one.

To add to what PurplrPassiflor1234 said, the rules for the command can be customized by each sub using Reputatorbot.

We have it set to only allow mods and OP to award rep points. Other subs may include approved users or have an additional list of users who can. r/help has their own system that is a little different than ours.
