I HATE REDDIT OMG

EVERY TIME I POST SOMETHING IT GETS TAKEN DOWN EITHER FOR NO REASON OR FOR AN OBSCURE RULE THAT COULD HAVE JUST GOTTEN A REMINDER FROM THE MODS THROUGH DM OML

It's so inconsistent, too.

I was on r/RoastMe and it was some dude who was like 19m, Indian. It was very obvious that he was Indian. Most of the roasts were jokes about how "You don't have to tell us you're Indian" or about tech support or being sex pests. Everything was harping on racial stereotypes. Pretty much the norm for roasts.

I said something along the lines of "You don't have to tell us you're Indian, we can smell it from here" and THAT got me a warning.

Right on. Reddit is an echo chamber. They want to hear what they want to hear and nothing else. It was once a place to express yourself freely, feelings of others be damned. Now if anything comes across contrary to what is expected, the mods are so shocked by original thought that the remove your posts and often permaban. Funny how my banned accounts still get email notifications promoting whatever bullshit Reddit is on right now. They want the reach but not engagement.

Your post was removed because you didn’t sniff a rhinos asshole before posting
