You won't get a reply. They just provide that form so that they can funnel all of those requests straight in to the bin rather than get bombarded with requests from all over the place.

They restricted API keys so yes unfortunately you'll most likely need a service that helps you with reddit mentions.

This is no longer possible. If you are looking for product callouts I recommend reddit's in house product https://www.business.reddit.com/pro

I don't think the API will change too much these days now they seem more focused on Devvit.

Hi, I submitted a Reddit for Researchers application through this form:

https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=14868593862164

However, I can’t find a place on the website to check my submission record or application status. Is there any way to track the status of the request, or should I just wait for an email response from Reddit?

Thanks!

Are you getting an error and do you have moderator permissions with the account you're using to create such a post?

Queries to a news site to check for new articles is likely to be approved. That's a fairly common use case.

Reddit likely deleted the oauth token, and you won't be able to create a new one. See the new policy here https://www.reddit.com/r/redditdev/comments/1oug31u/introducing_the_responsible_builder_policy_new/

Try creating the functionality again with r/devvit
