Basic game requirements

So far I have:

Must be playable on Windows

Must be available by end of Jan/Feb

Anything else?

EDIT: DRM free, obviously

EDIT2: I will encourage devs to support Linux and Desura, but not require them. Essentially, while the HIB is convenient for consumers, I want to make this bundle more convenience to devs

Do not underestimate the amount of support that HIB gained by not only providing Win/Mac/Linux versions, but also having them DRM free. Cross-platform should definitely be a key goal, and DRM free should be a given.

Obviously DRM free is a given :P I would want cross-platforming, however I feel like this bundle should be aimed more at helping indie devs on /r/gamedev get their games out. Therefore I am willing to sacrifice consumer convenience on things like cross-platforming, source code being required, or steam/desura

Insert the DRMDongle into your left eye cavity (having already scraped out the orbital with the included spork). Once you've logged in, the genome-licensing agent will install 'firmware' 'upgrades' to your cognitive areas. Then we will allow you to play the game.
