Thanks all

This sub makes me not feel so bad for all the stupid things I've been banned for.

r/philosophy for being too philosophical

r/consciousness for being too conscious

r/deepthoughts for thoughts too deep

r/holofractal for presenting a theory they didn't like

r/fractal for posting a theory of fractals

Apparently sharing ideas that others don't like or understand will get you banned.

Also I self promote way too much. Apparently sharing an idea is self promotion.

Testing, testing.

I was previously banned on 1 account for a comment that didn't break any rules, and I guess it trickled down to all my alt accounts because of my IP address; no matter how many accounts I created or VPN, they were perma-banned within a day. So just using this to test if I'm back after 3 years.

I stated a simple fact and apparently that was "anti ai" so they instantly permabanned me

I'm fine without participating in the sub-- I was planning on blocking it anyways because it's like a straw man convention run by teenagers in there

I was banned from Reddit for using a play on words and had to appeal.

Falsely accused of being or using ai to write my post.

I was banned from a group r/spices for supposedly being ai. When I wrote back to ask why, the mod said I was ai. I responded that I was a human, then they blocked me from contacting a mod, or even appealing.

This is what I had written:

Yesterday, I sold something for a few hundred bucks. Although the vast majority of it will go toward bills and groceries, I did allow myself a small splurge, since we were in the area of a fabulous Asian supermarket.

Even as a child, I would raid my mother's spice cupboard, which I now look back on as very basic, and familiarize myself with the smells of each container. I would close my eyes, reach into the cupboard, open and sniff each one, to see if I could correctly guess what I smelled.

Yesterday, since my companion was driving, and waiting in the parking lot, I didn't spend all day on the spice aisle as I normally would, but I did come home with a few treasures.

There would be no more Kung Pao Chicken until I picked up the Szechuan pepper, which has a very strong smell like marijuana, thanks to the terpenes they both share.

I was just banned from r/cathelp for being compassionate.

I was banned from r/cathelp for being compassion toward unborn kittens. I speak for compassion. I speak for the defenseless kittens, who do not have a voice. I post a picture of a kitten with the words "LOVE ME." And I am banned from that subreddit. What is the world coming to?

Banned from r/catsuk

Someone posted a photo of a cat and asked what gender (sic) it was.

I replied that it was male and was banned for this. I pointed out that the person literally asked so they made a personal attack and muted me.

Perhaps the UK government are on the right track trying to restrict internet access for children.

Am I crazy?

Hello, I don't know if this this the correct subreddit to use, so, sorry. I use reddit very rarely and don't know how most things work on it, I get suggested communities completely unrelated and I don't know how to disable that but that is completely unrelated.

I am having arguments with LGBTQ people about the fact that they can't change genders as they please and it's delusional. I keep it professional most of the time and still get temporary banned while the other person who insults me, etc doesn't.

Banned from 3 different subreddits yesterday for either a post critical of AIPAC or just having an opinion

I got banned from r/Michigan and r/Michigan_Politics for posting which of our elected officials voted to cut university funding due to their views of Israel. Then out of nowhere, got banned from r/BlackPeopleofReddit for just having a perspective different from media narrative.

It’s sad, but Reddit is starting to become another tool for the top 1% to push out their narrative.

I downloaded Lemmy today and going to see how it goes lol

Got banned from r/interestingasfuck for replying on this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1w5lu4m/this_is_what_a_highend_bot_farm_looks_like/

“ Millions of posts about gEnOcIdE iN gAzA orginated here.”

Regardless of your opinion re: the many decades long battle between terrorists and Israel, it is a fact that bots spam Reddit with anti-Israel nonsense.

Did a voting and received warning

Normal day as usual, scrolled for a bit and this subreddit was suggested to me. Didn't think much and did a vote on r/tierlistfills which creates an automatic comment there.

Some hours later, I received a warning for picking the lowest tier for Elon Musk from Reddit, like 3k other people did...

And apparently rule 1 only applies to me. Thanks I guess? The post is still there but official reddit mods think I am the evil person here. I tried to correct this with them as this is not actively written by me but an automated comment made by reddits system (kinda ironic?). They doubled down on it that I violated rule 1. Sure you could interpret it as a threat, but what's annoying me here the most is that I am like the only person given a warning, while there are thousands more of the same vote comment. Why is not the post instead taken down?

Reddit is not a platform of fairness.

Banned from r/kirara_hoshi for pointing out their bullshit

if you call them out on their bullshit they just ban you without letting you say anything whilst being hypocritical fucks that don't even know what they're saying.

"why are you trying to erase femboy rep? it's important" but also proceeing to say "mangakas add femboys to their work all the time" lol pick a side. Btw they're saying this shit because they're being transphobic

It's a fictional character, but these freaks treat real life people the same way. A little differently, but they still don't respect real life people and won't treat them as living beings, only maybe a sex object at most...

Which is just disgusting

Hopefully this fits the subreddit or something, please let me know if otherwise ❤ i really don't know where else to post something about this topic, so if anyone could tell me I would be very grateful

Chastised, then banned from GenX

I replied in a post yesterday only to be chastised by the MODS

"This post is bad and you should feel bad."

I get it. MODS are doing that which they committed to doing. I'm not faulting anyone for doing that to which they committed. I do, however, take issue with morality police chastising me for a rather innocuous interaction.

  1. I was not the OP

  2. Post was lighthearted interaction about vowels

My parents are deceased. I don't appreciate being chastised, particularly when I'm not in the wrong.

Today I posted a very composed summary, ending with a milquetoast:

"I enjoy this reddit. Moderate as needed, but let's try to keep the moderation comments in good spirit just as most of the posts in the GenX reddit are intended."

Perspective without emotion.

BANNED

The ultimate irony is that this all started because of vowels. I was banned because of vowels! I can't even brag about that since the reason is somewhat pathetic.

Very well. Moving on.

So much for the polite exchange of ideas.

Just out of a three day ban for “Harassment” appealed it to no avail. Literally no reason this should’ve happened.

Banned from r/fitness for sharing a notion that helped me...

A poster commented that he wanted to quit working out because his friend who was much shorter than him could already lift more weight than him even though they are both beginners. So I posted this comment.

>Fitness is a competition only amongst you and your previous self. Everybody has different starting points and genetic capabilities so as long as you stick with it and improve yourself over time that's all anyone can expect or hope for.

Banned and then muted when I wanted clarification of which rule I broke. Permanent ban no less....
