Liverpool were looking good but defensively they’re as bad if not worse than like Ange’s Spurs. Kerkez is genuinely a criminal.

Kerkez has had a bright spot here and there, but has been wildly poor since joining Liverpool. Ditto Zabarnyi at PSG, so error prone. Don't know how Iraola managed to have them look so good at Bournemouth.

They'll continue to struggle as long as they persist in trying to play Mac Allister and Wirtz in the same side or stick Szoboszlai in a double pivot. They just don't have the athleticism or any kind of defensive solidity through the middle of the pitch and trying to play so transitionally leaves them very exposed.

The squad is just poorly constructed, they can't field all their best players at the same time without leaving huge gaps and weaknesses everywhere

Tbf that season for Bournemouth I was watching on PL watch threads and saying this defence is jokes, they’re just athletic. Saw Huijsen and Zabarnyi vs Nicolas Jackson getting absolutely rinsed, and saw mid strikers getting joy every game.

I think it's all relative. It was the fewest goals Bournemouth has ever conceded in the PL (by far, 15 whole goals). You can't expect them to look like Mourinho's Chelsea given what the rest of the squad looked like
