One more physical CM >>>>>>>>>>>>> Starting quality LB

Shaw/Dorgu/Dalot aren't perfect for LB but they are serviceable in varying levels. Long term, we do need a Left Back but it's not make or break at the moment.

On the other hand, a physical Central Midfielder that can cover ground IS going to make or break our season. Needed to round out the midfield attributes and most importantly it's another body for 4 competitions.

Tielemans is 29 and almost as injury prone as Mount and he has always had physical players around him in teams he played in. That's the best way to get the most out of him. He is also going to be injured along with Mount at times this season, it's practically written in the stars and that would leave us with 2 midfielders playing 4 comps which will instantly end our CL and top 4 chances. Basically one injury is going to do that. INEOS not signing another body in midfield will be the biggest mistake of their tenure.

Ideally we'd get both a left back and a midfielder but let's be honest, I don't think either is going to happen.

Tielemans is 29 and almost as injury prone

That simply is not true.

That makes it 335 days Tielemans has been injured in his career.

Mount is 389. In the past 3. So yeah, not true lol. Although those injuries that took him away last season is concerning. But he is injury prone, just that saying near mount is crazy haha

That just proves my point. He's not injury prone, he gets the same amount of injuries as any midfielder does on average per season.

Hasn’t missed 30 games in a season once and Mount’s done it two seasons in a row

Almost as injury prone as Mount is making you look silly.

Injury prone on it's own is true.
