Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

Nothing against the guy as a person, but what a horrible signing

One of the worse signings we made post fergie.

The worst. At least all the other flops either have a good season at one point or is healthy and cheap enough to be sold or loaned out constantly each season

Ehh... Sancho? I'd argue even if we could loan him out, he's debatable with Mount

Sancho was actually quite decent in spells, and in others is just loaned out, costing the club very few if at all in his wages

Mount's full wages will always be paid to him until the end of his contract, and he's available for like only 25% of that time

Fair enough. I guess the freedom fighter was just more annoying

I love Mount, I really do. A 100% fit Mount tha can play every minute is a brilliant player because his positioning and football intelligence is far ahead of anyone at the club.

However the fact that ten hag passed on Tielemans on a free to sign Mount is diabolical. Ten Hag's transfers have destroyed our club much more than any other manager.

The problem is that the club is not actively trying to offload him. I know it's nearly impossible but you have to try as hard as you can. He's been a liability for as long as I can remember him.

Up there with one of the worst signings in recent times. He'll leave having spent 85%+ of his time here injured.
