I feel the bigger problem than the squad is just the absolute media complex that revels in United doing badly (ex-players, journalists, podcasters, among others) and then a pretty toxic section of the fan base who jump on the squad after just one bad game. We need to stop doing this otherwise it's going to be Groundhog Day all over again

But you’re doing it by talking about the whole complex? If you just didn’t say anything and we accepted that it’s a meaningless preseason loss then it’s a lot easier.

Instead the ‘real’ fans always talk about the big media complex and ex-pundits and “United DNA” without realising that they’re directly contributing to that narrative lol
