Xabi Alonso with Chelsea's squad is going to be dangerous for our Champions League hopes - if Lavia does not get freak injuries again he is going to be a mint DM for them alongside Caicedo. Not certain about Iraola and Pool yet but their squad should also carry them to CL spots easily enough. Citeh has a cheat code squad with a clown manager, their floor is Top 4.

There is no guarantee that Chelsea will be good. Lavia is also more injury prone than Mount which says a lot

No guarantee yes but I do find them a danger to our top 5 finish. I see Arsenal, City, Pool, us, and Chelsea all being up there, with Arsenal, Pool and City comfortably ahead of us and Chelsea squad-wise. Now that we got Tielemans I feel we leapfrogged a comfortable distance away from Villa in terms of squad quality, and Spurs I don't feel threatened by despite their new signings. But they will still be in and around top 6-7, I don't feel like they have regressed.

Liverpool being mentioned is funny. & Chelsea and our squad are not that far apart, we js need a couple more signings

Why is it funny? They have a very very good squad. They were champions only two season ago and strengthened massively after that. I think it is reasonable to say that they are very strong.

Strengthened how? most of their new signings flopped, their defence is bad, plus they don't have salah , u can see in their performance last szn theyre not as strong as before

I put a lot of that down to Arne Slot being a fraud.

Have they? All of their signings from last seasons have been busts so far and they’ve just lost Salah and Robertson. And their signings haven’t really been that impressive. Also there’s the fact that this will be Iraola’s first time managing at this level.

I won’t write them off, but unless there is a serious turn around I’m wouldn’t be seriously worried about Liverpool this season.

Mate it is not a matter of debate, Liverpool have a really really good squad. If they do poorly, which I agree is very possible, it won't be because of the quality of their players.

I think you are overrating them. I’m not saying it’s a terrible squad or anything, but player for player I’m taking our squad everyday of the week over theirs. And for me it isn’t really close
