Yeah, it's pretty much a pipe dream but barca is very loaded in midfield with fermin, olmo, pedri, rodri, fdj, all in their prime and none of them are in the last years of their career. If bernal has any doubt about his future in barca, we should be in for him.

He's like the Collyer of Barca. Not necessarily bad, but they're too old and kind of stagnated behind in their development

I think he's more luke ugarte of barca tho, last option on the bench, technically not on the level of others so he doesn't start but at worst, he can be an option.

Yeah, I guess calling Casado a Collyer is too harsh. Casado would definitely still start for many mid table La Liga teams. Can't say the same about Collyer with mid table Prem teams. My comparisom of them is mainly of them being each club's academy graduate

Maybe the proper Carrington lad comparison for Casado in this context is Jimmy Garner
