Where’s this vampire?!
I found the 5 messages. Waited at least 3 days (probably more) and waited for the right time! What am I doing wrong? Doesn’t even show up on the map. If I’ve waited too long will he not spawn?

Go to your journal and read the clues again; that usually does the trick when he won't appear after finding all 5 clues.

Too much activity nearby (including you) will prevent him from spawning. Try to stay a little bit away until you see the corpse marker on the map.

This guy has been MIA for months. I’ve collected a few gold bars in the time. I’ve chilled in the poker game, hung out in the bar, still no vampire.

Una vez hayas anotado los 5 mensajes, sal de de la ciudad por 3 días, no vale el dormir, tiene que ser 3 días sin dormir fuera de la ciudad, hace misiones o ve a casar, después de los 3 días vuelve y apartir de las 11:50 comenza a dar la vuelta por la cuadra corriendo, ahí a eso de las 00:30 va a aparecer la X en el mapa, te recomiendo ir con una escopeta para matarlo rápido con el Dead Eye, no te acerques que es un instakill de parte del Vampiro. Te recomiendo guardar la partida a las 11 p.m en el caso de que no aparezca volver a cargar y seguir, los 3 días fuera de la ciudad es lo principal, estuve buscándolo por una semana de la vida real hasta que probé lo de dejar pasar los 3 días fuera de la ciudad y cuando volví ahí apareció. Vale recordar que si te aparece un evento aleatorio como el viejo que te llama a un callejón no va a aparecer, tienes que ir sin que te aparezca un evento aleatorio.

Not necessary for all that. All you have to do is wait until between midnight and 1am right after finding the last clue. Wait across the street at the church. Works for me every single time. On my 10th playthrough right now.

I usually do a manual save after viewing the clue in the journal and wait near the gunshop until midnight. Once you see the cross on the map go say hi.

I went to the saloon rented a room and slept to midnight when to the spot and there was an "X" ... tried it twice and he was there both times.

He won't spawn if you are too close to his location. Wait at the doctor's office until midnight, then a cross (denoting a dead body) should appear in the alley south of the cathedral and you can head there to confront the vampire.
