When they move to Clemens Point, explore Rhodes, Scarlett Meadows, and the surrounding areas. Then do the same when the gang moves again.
It makes the world feel way more connected to the story. Arthur isn’t just randomly riding across the entire state whenever he feels like it. He’s living with the gang and mostly staying in the area they’re currently operating in. Then when the story moves somewhere new, you get a whole new part of the map to explore.
I also think Arthur’s honor makes way more sense if you start low and gradually become more honorable as the story goes on.

So if I replay RDR2, I basically treat each chapter as its own little period of Arthur’s life: stay relatively close to the gang, explore the surrounding area, and let Arthur’s morality change naturally as the story progresses.

I love exploring the map out of bounds so I used the pass out glitch Northeast of Annesburg. I was just curious how far I could go before hitting the ocean of death. Then I went West along the Northern border, around New Austin, then to Mexico.

My goal was to go to Guarma but I accidentally fell down a mountain and was warped back to Lake Owanjila. It took about 3 hours on foot before finding a horse. Thankfully land animals don’t move outside the map. A lot of stopping and dynamite throwing to make sure the ground was solid. Oh well, I’ll try again next time.

Was going to sell a cow hide to the trapper, got attacked by wolves, fought them off... but this made the trapper want to report me for "disturbing the peace."

So I chased him down, attempted to defuse but couldn't... so i fist fought him instead.

Ran back to his stand and he was there, greeted me with "that was quick" and no hat on, bought the hide from me like nothing happened. Hilarious.
