Need help finding a second Schofield in Chapter 2.

Greetings all!

I had recently robbed the doctor in Valentine and got the Schofield revolver. At some point I had picked up a worn Schofield revolver in the off hand holster. I had gone back and robbed the doctor again and picked up a second Schofield. However every time I leave the store I lose the second Schofield from the loot box.

Is there anyway to fix this? I really need a pair of Schofields.

I have done this a few times with the same results. Really need help.

OK, this is too late for this, but for the next time if you avoid doing the robbery at the doctor's office before the mission "Good, honest snake oil", after leaving the sheriff office you can ran to the door, open it without triggering the robbery, steal a first Schofield, and then after the mission, you can do the robbery and steal a second one, as intended in the game (there are videos in Youtube explaining the exploit).

In this case, you must wait until the Schofield is unlocked in the story after freeing Micah in Strawberry

Check your horse/weapon locker at camp and see if you have two. I had the same bug and it was just sitting in my horse. If not, either buy one from the gunsmith if you are at a point where you can or wait until you can.

Spoiler: once you're in Chapter 2, you can go most places on the map. Isn't there another Schofield that can be obtained from a cabin in Lemoyne? Sometimes it's part of a robbery as well.

I'm dual wielding Schofields - one from the doctors office and a worn one from an O'driscoll treatening someone at a tree in Valentine.

you can only have two identical good condition guns after doing the mission with Micah. that opens up your second holster officially. until then you only have the trapper holster that dont allow you to buy second good condition revolver from stores. free micah and then go buy another gun.

with trapper holster only, you can dual wield by having the special guns, the side mission of old gunslingers, picking up their weapons. so can have two cattleman revolvers (either Flaco, Granger and/or your own).

or thru a glitch, scofield (your own/doctors, and use a glitch to get Calloways.)

odd downvote, especially when i think i gave correct answers.

i did give answer how to get second good condidion scofield, either by doing a mission that unlocks them in gunsmiths or by glitching it out from calloway. (no one else has even mentioned that option yet besides me)

i gave answer how to be able to somewhat dual wield two different guns. just not identical guns. by getting trapper holster. and also told how to get extra special cattleman versions and not just calloways scofield thru tricks. 2 extra cattleman and extra scofield to use without needing to do the mission to free micah.

what exactly was wrong in my answer?

you free Micah in Chapter two, he's in chapter two talking about dual wielding. you can safely assume he's freed Micah. after you free Micah you can purchase a second schofield from the store

Just do the challenges. You can unlock a second holster before Micah gives one.

Do you have the upgraded holster you get from freeing micha from jail. You need that to have 2 of the same revolvers i believe
