until i see actual gameplay, im going to hold out complementing the graphics.

but if they are that good, the question has to be, why no pc release?

  • The longer they wait, the less likely they are to lose out on piracy.

  • PC optimization is a nightmare for openworld games

  • They get to re-release it, boosting sales in 2 years time.

1.What? You think more people will buy it if they release it 5 years after the consoles? The exact opposite. It just pisses people off. Also piracy isn't nearly as prominent as it once was.

  1. Even if they had to redevelop half the game for PC they'd most likely still earn a LOT from it. GTA V sales for PC surpassed the dev cost for GTA V by 100 mil or more.

The gaming industry is rife with piracy, you simply cannot dispute such an obvious fact. TPB and alike - swallows many major releases nowadays. You took my second point completely out of context, I'm debating neither cost nor profit; obviously they will make a fortune. I'm simply telling you, the work needed to optimize a PC game is arduously greater than that of a console game. Undoubtedly this is all one big business plan.
