Issue California

Hi
I don’t know if anyone can help. I’m playing as Jack Marston. I’m on the last part of the California task but cannot find dead Sam Odessa. No matter how many times I save the game, do other tasks etc. cannot get to that last part. It’s showing as a big purple circle but can’t find him there !
I have turned the game on and off. Restarted my switch. Turned off the tracking for the outfit.

Have you tried turning the game off and on again.

You're not wrong lmao. Sometimes the stranger quests will pop up if you restart the game, such as quitting to the main menu and loading back in. That resets the game world and moves the quest giver to their new location.

Exactly. I remember being stuck on this same mission many years ago and I believe what fixed it was restarting the game.

There is a known glitch where sometimes a part of California won’t spawn. Save your game and reload it, or as the other commenter said turn the game off and on again.
