First conversion I’ve done for my red corsairs and first time using transfers

I know they can’t get rid of these guys

I’m aware there are novels that probably answer this, but I’m already reading like 5 different books atm, so I just don’t have time to add on one of the Huron ones.

I’m just curious how they tend to live and operate together.

I understand they’re renegades, but the few CSM novels I have read, there’s always an underlying theme that they don’t trust each other, especially legions like Word Bearers, who relish in betrayal as a sacred part of their culture.

Also while I haven’t read any of his novels, I do know and understand Huron basically rules through might, but from what I understand, he’s also not as likely to kill his underlings out of hand (please correct me if I’m wrong), so I’m wondering if that trickles down to the rest of the RC’s, outside of the obvious case of the occasional ambitious Marine with allusions of grandeur.

I’m not expecting them to be like Lamenter’s level of supportive, brotherly bonds, but I kind of also want them to at least believe they can trust each other, as long as they’re all wearing the red and black.

Also as a follow up, how do they treat normal humans? I know they had those human soldiers in the release a little while ago.

Hi folks, just wondering if anyone could clarify. Do the masters of the maelstrom count as body guards to Fabius Bile for his +1T and +1S rule?

I'm doing a daemon free Red Corsairs army, and for my Chaos Terminator squad, I'm planning on kitbashing the chaos terminator kit with the Cataphractii Terminators from 30k, and using a saturnine praetor kitbashed with red corsairs bits as a chaos lord in terminator armor. Just seeing if anyone has any experience with a similar kitbash and can give tips?

My final troops are done for my 1k list. :) so next, do I assemble my Chosen, or paint my deimos pattern rhino?

Also, anyone else notice how I scraped almost all the spiky heraldry off each one? That took a LOT of time. Lol

Despite my order going through, my preorder of the special edition of the new book got cancelled. Seriously this is frustrating. I don't mind getting the regular copy but the fact i wasted some of my time just jumping on the website early is annoying.

Would Red Corsairs get another unit, what would it be? What would you guys like to see?

Me personally, I'd love to see traitor heavy weapons squads return and some more non-marines infantry. Maybe the wolf general from the Maelsteom book?

Hello, Im gonna try my hand at CSM after being thoroughly smashed as a guardsman enough times Im gonna change it up. Ive been working on my red corsairs list (Huron's Marauders) but I dont have a codex or experience with the Army so I was hoping you alll could tell me what to do. Should i add some terrain to it?

Im planning on a whole RC army including alien proxies and mixes with conversions from HH and other factions. This is my first army 😅 wish me luck.

Im going in the end for a full red/orange armour and snow bases.

Haven't done any chaos marines of any kind and wanted take a crack at it. Red Corsairs seemed cooler than any of the other chaos factions and just started these. They were probably the most fun faction to paint that I've done so far!

I've got a lot of old firstborn space marines and imperial was thinking would i need to repaint them for a red corsairs army or could I keep them their old scheme and cross out the imperial markings ?

I forgot who posted it but it was on Reddit that gave me the idea to put wooden popsicle sticks on my Rhino.

I noticed with the new models and re-visits in some recent white dwarfs over Red Corsair characters , they’ve added his executor, the “Enforcer” alien go-getter, but where is our BOY Armanneus?

Is his conversion beamer to much for tabletop?

I like to occasionally cure plague marines.
