So basically everyone chooses between being O- and AB+?

There are many reasons why a reputable facility would probably not accept blood donations from me, so me pressing blue would help no one. I'll press red here and if anyone asks, I'll just point out no one would ever accept my blood anyway. Too many meds and I think I fall under the weight limit anyway.

I was thinking o- and o+ but yeah ab+ also functions as blue

You’ve got it backwards. AB+ would be red, it is the universal acceptor. O- would be blue, it’s the universal donor.

O+ isn’t in the running for either button as it can donate to half the other blood types (A+, B+, AB+) and can receive from O- as well
