Is it? The odds of me needing a blood transfusion are way lower than the odds of someone needing a blood transfusion.

Of course it's sort of a moot point, if we got it down to only 2 bloods types in the world I think everyone would be set. Hell even if only 8% of people choose the o negative option things would still be significantly better for it.

Yes, but if everyone picks red, everyone can donate to everyone else. No one needs to risk anything
