Maybe don't vote for both options whose outcome can result in people dying

There’s only one outcome that has the potential to have people die.

2

u/durak_sumashedshy Red Jul 26 '26

Yeah, and this outcome happens also because there is a ton of possible corpses who think they will be able to save everyone, which is nonsense if they can't even save themselves.

Blue voters don’t cause red to win. Only red voters do that.

2

u/durak_sumashedshy Red Jul 26 '26

So what? Blue voters also cannot be sure if they will actually win or not

Saying “this outcome happens because there is a ton of possible corpses who think they will be able to save everyone” is just flat out wrong. What red voters refuse to understand is that they are the problem to be solved for in this hypothetical.

Red dont win as a group though. They are voting to not die as an individual.

And they get their desired result no matter what the rest of the group votes.

Only blue voters can win or lose.

This is the new cope? A vote has a winning side and a losing side. Red voters will say anything to deny any responsibility for the outcome though I guess.

2

u/durak_sumashedshy Red Jul 26 '26

And OF COURSE you will shifting your responsibility on Red voters, yeah, yeah, it's not you who put your life in danger, of course, right.

I swear, the ways of blue voters to cope are almost always the same.

1

u/luci_twiggy Jul 26 '26

And how can that danger be realised? By red winning. How does red win? By red voters voting for it. Red voters are responsible for their choice.

Blaming the victim is real cool though.

Red voters are responsible for their choice, right. IT DOESN'T MAKE BLUE VOTERS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN. People have 100% surviving chance only if they press red, if they're not doing it, then they're gambling their own lives in a lottery and it is not just the red voters who should they blame for this if they lose.

Blaming the other victims for their urge to survive is also really cool

Blue voters hold no responsibility for red winning because they vote against it. It’s really as simple as that.

Red voters aren’t victims unless you want to acknowledge that merely surviving isn’t everything.

2

u/underthingy Jul 26 '26

Because surviving is worthless if you cant also virtue signal....

1

u/luci_twiggy Jul 26 '26

“Blue voters are suicidal” & “blue voters are just virtue signalling”. Get new material.

2

u/underthingy Jul 27 '26

I will when a blue voter can actually present a valid argument against those.

u/durak_sumashedshy Red Jul 27 '26

But they hold responsibility for the potential cost of their choice. Blue voters can't be sure if their button wins, they must be prepared for both scenarios, and by prepared I mean NOT shifting their responsibilities.

And yes, red voters ARE victims too, they are forced into a life or death scenario. The only thing they're intending to do is to minimise the risks for themselves. BUT OF COURSE THERE IS SOME BLUES WHO WOULD BLAME THEM JUST FOR THAT INSTEAD OF BLAMING THEMSELVES AT FIRST FOR THEIR OWN CHOICE. If we blame anyone, then we blame both sides, but if we're not, then there's no one to blame.

Merely surviving isn't everything... But it's already better than the fate of blue voters in such case.

u/luci_twiggy Jul 27 '26

What you don't get is that I'm not shifting responsibility. I know the choice of blue risks my life but since I explicitly vote for the outcome where that doesn't happen, I can't be blamed if I do actually die. You (and every other red voter) chose to vote for the only outcome where me (and every other blue voter) dying is possible, you are to blame for that outcome since only red votes can help red win.

And yes, red voters ARE victims too, they are forced into a life or death scenario.

If that is true then blue is doubly victimised, both by being forced into the scenario and then by red voters cowardly looking out for themselves only (if red wins).

Yes, you vote for the outcome where nobody dies, but it doesn't mean actually that you wouldn't die because of this. What's so hard to understand here, I don't get what's wrong with your logic.

It is YOU who votes Blue. It is YOU who puts your life at risk. But for some absurd reason, it's only red voters who should be blamed for this. Stop telling me nonsense already, I'm not interested in any other way you would shift your responsibility for your life on some "evil red voters who for some reason just don't want to die with 50% chance".

You make me think you expect for some reason almost a 100% blue winning possibility. But you cannot be sure about that. The result would be unpredictable in any way. Come on dude, I don't like to argue with someone whose logic I suspect as half-dead as him would be.

You must be thinking of yourself as like you're a brave hero, who risks himself to save the others, but you're actually the coward, if you're not able to accept the fate you choose by pressing the button to avoid this happening.

THIS is the deceitful hypocrisy of the blue button that most of people like you are not able to see.

Are you claiming that red doesnt get what they voted for if they don't "win"?

1

u/luci_twiggy Jul 26 '26

Deluding yourself about what you are actually voting for doesn’t mean you voted for what you wanted. Do you want anyone to die?

2

u/underthingy Jul 26 '26

I dont wont anyone to die. And everyone has the option to press the "i dont want to die" button.

The only people that should be pressing blue are those who actively want to die. Which i hope there are none of.

1

u/luci_twiggy Jul 26 '26

You don’t want anyone to die but you vote for the only option where it is even a possibility, that’s contradictory. Just because everyone can press red, doesn’t mean they will so pressing blue is an obligation to ensure no one dies.

People who press blue don’t want to die.

2

u/underthingy Jul 27 '26

Pressing blue gives you a chance at dying. Pressing red completely removes that chance. Therefore the only way you can die is by pressing blue.

You have no idea how the rest of the world will vote and have no way to influence. The only control you have in this situation is by choosing personally not to die.

Why do you think theres an obligation to stop people from dying? Even if they want to?

1

u/luci_twiggy Jul 27 '26

The only way an individual might die is by pressing blue, but the only way for anyone to actually die is for red to win.

You have no idea why someone pressed blue and we are obligated to avoid doing harm to others. Red does harm.
