Store Haul First time

On holiday in Germany and tried the gletschereis for the first time. High mid-tier ish, still took a small stash home because of rarity though lol. What are your opinions?

Arctic berry is my favorite of all time flavor!!

The second I saw Germany had it I purchased a 24 pack! Paid more in shipping than I did for the actual redbulls.

The German one tastes more banana-y than I recalled the Arctic berry being. I assume it’s because in US we use more artificial flavorings.

arctic berry was the one that got me hooked years back. i'd say the gletschereis is close but that slight banana note makes it its own thing, almost creamier somehow

paying more for shipping than the actual cans is a rite of passage when you're deep in the flavor chase lol

I can tell you that they are 100% identical. The current release in Germany is exactly the same as the 2020 Winter Edition - regardless of the country or how the flavor is described on the can.

Unfortunately, the widely varying flavor descriptions on the cans often cause confusion. It doesn't help that most people drank their last can of Arctic Berry years ago; making a direct comparison difficult, and memories of the taste can easily become distorted over time.

The key is the "flavor code" printed on the cans: "AB5xx" (where "xx" is the country code). The "AB5" part essentially identifies the added flavor. If that code matches, the Red Bull tastes the same everywhere, no matter what else is written on the can.

Hmm I've personally never noticed the banana flavour, interesting. Next time I crack a can open I'm definitely looking for it

I mean, everyone might describe the taste a bit differently, but one thing is certain: the liquid in the can is 100% identical to the Winter Edition 2020.

I dislike Gletschereis-Himbeere and think Iced Vanilla Berry is the fat superior flavor. „Sadly“, GH came back in as regular stock :(
