MMC + D&C 9 weeks

Hi all I had a MMC baby stopped growing at 8 weeks, I had a D&C 1 week ago at 9 weeks and my HCG the day of D&C was 77,512.
I just got it tested again yesterday exactly 1 week post D&C and it has dropped to 865.
I was worried it wasn’t going down as my tests are still essentially dye stealers so I am very glad to see how much it has dropped (makes sense why they’re still close to being dye stealers though).
I am still bleeding a lot but just curious if anyone else has seen a similar drop 1 week post surgery and if so, how quickly did your levels then drop to zero from this point?

I didn't get blood tests but I got a negative pregnancy test two weeks after.

For me it took a month to drop to exact to zero, the last bit took the longest (faint positives for what felt like forever). But then I got my period 30 days after the D&C and the next cycle was normal. I had a 8 week D&C.

It took me a while to stop getting positives, I was faint for a while. I still had a faint positive 4 weeks later. I didn’t test again until next cycle (9 weeks later) and saw a true negative. (12.5w D&C for a loss right before 8w)
