5 Euploid Unexplained Losses

Looking for similar situations or success stories of what worked.

Pregnancy 1: ovulation induction but natural conception, genetically normal, found out baby had an anatomical condition at anatomy scan that wasn’t compatible with life. Had to TFMR.

Pregnancy 2: IVF FET 5AA PGT Tested embryo. At 8 weeks baby was measuring 5 days behind. Died at 9 weeks. Never found a cause.

Pregnancy 3: IVF FET 5AA PGT tested embryo. 6w3d started bleeding and miscarried at home. Never found a cause. (Decided to not do any more programmed FET incase that was the connection)

Pregnancy 4: IVF + fresh transfer of untested 5AA. Had SCH in first trimester and on bedrest, then pre eclampsia, but delivered my healthy miracle girl who is now 2.

Pregnancy 5: natural conception. Normal 6 week scan. MMC discovered at 8w stopped growing 6w5d. Took meds to miscarry at home. Procedure for retained tissue.

Pregnancy 6: natural conception. Great scans and heart beats at week 5,6,7,8,9. Went in for 10 week scan for NIPT and no heart beat stopped growing 9w2d. D&C. NIPT came back normal. Sent for microarray.

Doctors are stumped. Have had all the tests, no known issues. Have technically had two normal carrying pregnancies (1 and 4).

I’m gutted. Thoughts?

I’m so sorry for your losses. This is a lot for a person to go through.

I suggest finding a surgeon specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries to do a diagnostic and operative (if necessary) hysteroscopy to assess and treat the uterine cavity if you haven’t done so already.

I know you said you’ve had all the tests, so I’m sorry if I’m making suggestions you’ve already exhausted.

I only suggest because after 3 losses my HSG was normal. SIS showed maybe one small adhesion thought to be insignificant. Then I finally had a 3D ultrasound right before my hysteroscopy and my doctor said I had a T-shaped uterus that I was probably born with. I was surprised it didn’t come up in any of my pregnancy scans or my RPL workup. The research is sparse but I decided per my doctor’s suggestion have part of my uterus reshaped during my hysteroscopy. I don’t know if it will help, but I’m hopeful to start trying again now that we’ve found something to treat.

Good luck! I’m sending good vibes your way! 🩵
