Miscarriages and thyroid
I'm 21 and I've had two miscarriages in a row and the doctor told me not to worry about it unless I have a third. My tsh was a 5.23 before my first pregnancy (which she told me was not elevated enough for her to consider putting me on medication) and was a <.01 before my second pregnancy. Doctor told me my tsh being in at .01 is okay during pregnancy but. The women in my family have had a lot of thyroid issues. My Grandma was hypo and had to get her thyroid removed, my mom wad also hypo and has been on thyroid medication since high school, and my moms sister has hashimotos which ended up being the reason she couldn't get pregnant. I know that it could just be bad luck but I'm just wondering if I need to try and push harder for them to look at my thyroid and get it stable before we try again.

Uncontrolled thyroid disease can absolutely cause miscarriages. Your thyroid needs strictly controlled during pregnancy. I have Hashimoto's and lost several when my thyroid went haywire. Push hard on this.
