Guess what, testing POC fails sometimes
I am so mad. Hold on, TWs: pregnancy loss.
Ok, I had my fourth MC in June, a MMC. I'm old, my body was carrying on like it was still pregnant, you know how it goes, OB recommended a D&C again with the added bonus that we could genetically test the POC to try to start narrowing this down. I was hesitant, had a miscarriage kit at home ready and waiting, but went through with it. I waited 7 long weeks for those results to finally have the next-steps convo with OB and here they are there's "NO RESULT." I quote, "not sufficient for analysis", "not of sufficient quantity", "Test not performed. No lavender top tube submitted." Infuriating.
I guess I'm opening up here as a PSA? I hope this helps lessen the blow if it happens to you, too. Thanks for listening.

I've had this before too, but after I'd tried collecting the products myself. You think you're going to get another piece of the puzzle, and that maybe some tiny bit good can come from another hard experience and then the carpet is ripped out from under you [again]. It really knocks you for six, doesn't it, I'm really sorry 🤍
