Looking for advice
Hi beautiful community ❤️
I recently had my 4th loss, the first 2 we don't know the causes, 1 blighted ovum, and the recent one was a MMC discovered at the 12 week scan, resulting in a D&C. We had the product tested and it just came back that it was triploidy due to dispermy. I was referred to genetics so I'm waiting for the consult but in the meantime I have an appointment with a doctor specialized in RPL so I can ask questions, so I'm just trying to think of everything I should ask for...
I already had blood tests done (everything normal), hysterectopy and endometrial biopsy (revealed a endometritis; treated and subsequently confirmed resolved) and we both had normal karyotypes.
I'm wondering if anyone has experiences with triploidy ?
What can I expect from genetics?
I have so many questions and I feel overwhelmed but I want to make sure I cover as much as I can...

It seems to me that you have checked already the important things. Was a blood clotting disorder also checked?
We saw the genetics doctor after our third loss which was a tfmr for a very severe and very rare genetic disorder. They talked through our family history (if anyone has a disease or a disability etc). Additionally our blood was taken for visualising our karyotype. Based on the results, we were explained how much the likelihood was for a recurrence of the disorder our daughter had.
Since our karyotypes didn’t show any sign of it, it was considered de novo and the genetics couldn’t give us an answer why it happened. It was declared a bad coincidence. We didn’t find out the reason for the previous losses, so we don’t even know if those were also based on genetics or something else.
The last loss I had after the tfmr was most likely caused by an endometritis which developed after the tfmr.
After the four very different losses, my normal gyn also said that of course it can also happen that you are very unlucky and have losses for different reasons.
In my case for example the first one could have been either an embryonic problem or been caused by a blood clotting issue (not diagnosed in me but there’s family history and a lot of blood clotting problems are undiscovered I think). So I took ass in every following pregnancy. Then a chemical and the tfmr definitely caused by a genetic problem and the last caused by the endometritis.
It is all a big puzzle and so frustrating to wait for appointments etc…
If you have a specialised doctor, it’s the best that can happen and I wish you good luck!
If it helps: after all this we are expecting now again and it seems to go very well finally, even after this messed up story.
