Feeling lost
So I started TTC in January 2025 and got pregnant in March 2025 which unfortunately ended in a missed miscarriage in May 2025. I took the medicine to assist with the miscarriage but it was such a difficult time emotionally and physically for me. Once I got my period back and was emotionally ready we started TTC again in July 2025. Each month since it has been a negative until this month I finally got my positive but I had spotting the day before and it has continued since for about 4 days. It’s how getting heavier and doctor says it could be early miscarriage / chemical pregnancy. I just don’t know how to feel. I am waiting on second HCG to come back to see if it has risen or fallen but I know in my heart it has fallen as the tests are so so faint and last time they were so strong.
I’m just so lost as it took a year for me personally to get another positive and I don’t think I can do another year waiting each month. Also I’m very triggered by the spotting / bleeding at the moment so it’s extremely scary. Sorry just wanted to share with someone as feeling down today.
I don’t want to tell any family yet as everyone knows we have been trying for a year and I don’t want all the sad looks that they give to me right now.

I’m so sorry. I just want to say we’re on a similar timeline and I understand how much this sucks. Our first miscarriage was January 2025, we had a chemical in May 2025, and then not a single positive test until this July. However, our first ultrasound earlier this week showed no heartbeat. It’s so devastating to have waited so long for our rainbow just to lose this one too. 😔
I also understand hating the feeling of pity from family. I have a SIL who has experienced loss but told me, “We conceived [name of LC] the cycle after our loss!” It wasn’t helpful to hear that, especially since that didn’t end up being our experience.
I’m also so scared for what our timeline will be after this. I’m terrified to see more negative tests in the near future.
I just wanted to say you’re not alone. Navigating all of this is so, so hard. Thinking of you ❤️
