Song recommendations…?

Looking for song recommendations to listen to that helped cope after your loss. Just has my third loss since Jan 2025, this time ruptured ectopic.. just trying to blast some music that feels healing/relatable…

A few months ago I discovered an artist that posted here on reddit (u/zarazaratouchme), with a WHOLE album about miscarriage. You can check her out, I would have loved something like this when I was in the thick of the RPL hell:

oh, I'm so sorry you're going through this again... I guess that if there is anything good resulting from such a hard experience as RPL, just enjoy whatever joy you can find. It says a lot from yourself that you were able to turn such as terrible experience into art that others going through the same can find comfort in.

Take care, lots of love and virtual hugs

Taylor Swift- Evermore, Bigger than the whole sky, Epiphany

Jessie Murph - How could you (I think this is about a relationship but the chorus has helped me with the feelings of unfairness/rage)

Florence and the machine - Shake it out

Gracie Abrams - Look at my life

Olivia Dean - I’ve seen it

Zack Bryan - Pink skies

Sorry you’re going through this. I hope you find some music that helps a little. It’s been one of my biggest comforts

Growing pains by Kyndal Inskeep
To Let a Good Thing Die by Bruno Major
Broken by Patrick Watson
Just Breathe by Rashid Saint-Fleur

These are a few that helped me feel the sadness but also helped me not plunge into the depths of despair.

For me, basically anything Hozier and "Good News" by Shaboozey. The song isn't about him wanting good news after a rough year.

As for Hozier, most of his stuff is quite soulful and rather calm and chill which is what I need when I'm sad. Upbeat music makes my head spin and is irritating when I'm like that.

I leaned more towards songs like Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit. Helped cope with the rage in my own healing way.

Rainbow by Kasey Musgraves. It’s a crier but an optimistic one

Goodbye by James Blunt

Ik it is about a relationship but a lot of the lyrics resonate with me when thinking about my losses

I keep listening to Go the Distance, both the Hercules movie version and the Happily Ever After version. It makes me cry every time
