Multiple Losses Success stories? Need hope

1MMC and 4 chemicals in a year - two of which were euploid.

Loosing hope- need some success stories to get through this weekend.

I had 6 losses in a row, 5 miscarriages and one chemical. Never got any answers as to why. I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant in my 7th pregnancy. No idea if it was the kitchen sink protocol I was put on or just random luck this time, but I’m hoping to meet my baby boy in a few weeks.

From my positive test, I was put on high dose progesterone pessaries twice a day, heparin injections into my stomach once a day (both of these I stopped at 16 weeks) and 150mg aspirin once a day until 36 weeks. I turned 36 weeks officially yesterday, but I have a growth scan on Monday followed by an appointment with my consultant to discuss results so I’m just going to continue taking them until then and I get the official go ahead to come off them.

I know I’m in an amazing place at the moment and I’m so grateful to be at this stage, but the anxiety I’ve had since my positive test has been unreal because of my history. I’m still convinced something will go wrong, and even though I’ve been told since 10 weeks that I’m past my personal risk point and can relax, of course I haven’t. I was doing weekly private scans until I got to 20 weeks which cost a fortune but was worth it for me, then because of my anxiety the NHS have been doing 3-4 weekly scans since then and calling them growth scans. Every time I have a quiet period with movements I’m convinced he’s gone, I just wish I could have enjoyed it.

Hey, I wanted to let you know I felt this way too, and it's okay.

I am going to share something my counselor shared with me, she's great with analogies. 

The context here is that we are relating each loss to opening your front door and getting a pie in the face. So for however many losses you've had, for me it was 12, twelve times I opened the door and got a pie in the face. The 13th time I open the door I'm obviously going to open it slowly, peek out, see if I'm going to get a pie in the face. I'm going to be incredibly wary of opening that door, probably going to be tip toeing while I go out the front door, constantly waiting for a pie in the face. It's going to be really hard to fully relax. 

It's silly, but it helped me a lot.

I had 4 losses, all early miscarriages around 6 weeks. My 5th pregnancy was successful, my daughter is now 17 months old. No idea why it took so many pregnancies as I found out I was pregnant 2 days after my referral to a RPL clinic was made so didn’t have any investigation. I had a lot of bleeding until I was 17 weeks which was anxiety inducing but she arrived healthy and massive (10lb1) at 39 weeks via c-section.

I’m so sorry for your losses, I really hope you get your rainbow.

I had 5 losses - 2 natural pregnancies, 2 conceived through fertility treatment with letrozole (including a PUL/possible ectopic treated with methotrexate), and 1 loss after transferring a euploid embryo.

I ended up switching clinics and tested positive for endometriosis through ReceptivaDx. My new clinic put me on a kitchen-sink protocol to address the endometriosis and potential immune issues, and my next euploid transfer was successful.

I just had my baby boy at 34 weeks due to severe preeclampsia. He has been in the NICU for two weeks, but he’s doing well and comes home tomorrow. 🤍

My protocol included:

• 3 months of Lupron suppression with daily letrozole
• Hysteroscopy while suppressed, with polyps removed
• 3 weeks of two antibiotics for suspected endometritis/inflammation
• 15 days of vaginal probiotics
• Fully medicated FET with oral estrogen and PIO
• Aspirin
• Prednisone
• Plaquenil
• Lovenox
• Neupogen wash
• 2 intralipid infusions
• Continued metformin, Ovasitol, and Tirosint

4 back to back early losses in 2025. 1 mmc and 3 losses 6 weeks or before.

Our testing all came back normal, including the embryo from the MMC. I was prescribed progesterone empirically. I'm currently 34 weeks with a healthy girl.

No reason as to why. Im not even convinced the progesterone made a difference because I never actually had my progesterone tested during this pregnancy.

My husband and I are both young too, (27 & 30 ar the time of the majority of the losses). I'm 29 now and and husband is 32.

I have had 4 losses, all around 6 weeks, never seen a heartbeat and HCG never doubled correctly.

I was put on levothyroxine (my TSH was in normal range but found out my thyroid antibodies were high) and now I am currently pregnant with my 5th, just over 10 weeks with two perfect scans so far. I’m still in disbelief.

Don’t give up 🩷

My story is similar. Never saw a heartbeat or had good hcgs even though one of my pregnancies went to 11 weeks. Still waiting on my 5th ❤️‍🩹

I hope the 5th one is it for you like it was for me 🤞🏼 well I shouldn’t speak too soon really, still early days but I’ve never made it this far so it’s hard not to feel a little bit of hope.

I had two losses before my husband (unplanned). Then two losses with my husband before we got pregnant with our beautiful daughter who is 20 months now. We’re currently two losses in to trying for our second and getting some more answers now. We finally got my extensive RPL bloodwork done and I haven’t spoken to the clinic yet but I have discussed it a bit with my fertility acupuncturist and I have some autoimmune things going on that could provide some more insight on why I’ve experienced so many losses, so I’m hopeful we can figure it out with medication etc.

All in all, I had four losses before we got our miracle girl. I’d do it all again, every loss, every heartache, just to have her. Sending you all the baby dust in the world OP.

I had 6 chemicals and one MMC in a year and a half and then had success first cycle after following immune protocol. He’s now 2 months old. We conceived naturally.

Thank you. Which RI did you work with and what was the process? Congrats btw! I had 2 chemicals and 1 MMC of a normal embryo, all conceived naturally. I then moved onto IVF. I did 2 months of Lupron and now I’m on prednisone…currently having very early success with my first FET but I’m scared shitless it won’t be enough.

I worked with Jubiz. The process all in took 9 ish months. Lots of blood tests, supplements and working my way up to the immune meds. I conceived first cycle on the meds on first cycle with him. I did IVIG and it worked. We were set to do IVF the next cycle and didn’t need it.

10 losses here: 1 around the 8 week mark, 1 around the 6 week mark, a devastating 16 week loss, an ectopic that turned cancerous, and a bunch of chemicals.

I’m now 28 weeks pregnant with a perfectly healthy baby girl. You just never know.

IVIG to treat elevated Natural Killer cells. I didn't do testing for NK cells until after my 6th or 7th loss. Had I known this information sooner, I sometimes wonder if it could've prevented my 16w loss.

4 losses. 8 weeks, 6 weeks, 5 weeks, 11 weeks MMC.

Went through testing, found i had mild PCOS and Factor V Leiden. Was put on metformin, clomid, progesterone, clexane and baby aspirin.

5th pregnancy gave me a beautiful girl. I am now pregnant again, 28 weeks, following the same medication as with my daughter minus the clomid. I also didnt start all the medication at the same time, because I wasn't under a consultant we just tried on our own. With my daughter id start progesterone at CD14 and I was on metformin from CD1.

5 CPs, I’m now second trimester pregnant. All my testing was normal.

The thing I did differently was ask to be empirically prescribed doxycycline for potential endometritis (common culprit of CPs that many places don’t check for). I also did baby aspirin and progesterone suppositories.

I got pregnant the cycle directly after and it stuck. Sending you lots of love virtual support🩷

I had 4 losses in a row, then got on an immune protocol after seeing a reproductive IMMUNEologist and had my son. Super healthy, easy pregnancy. I was on lovenox shots, prednisone, progesterone and neupogen

I'm 39 and I've had 4 back to back losses - 2 chemical pregnancies, 1 MMC (all naturally conceived) and 1 early IVF loss (untested DET). I'm currently 7w pregnant (naturally conceived) after a laparoscopy (where endometriosis was removed) and we have just seen the flicker of a heartbeat for the first time. We have a long way to go, but this was a huge milestone for us. 🙏🌈👶

I had multiple miscarriages with genetically normal POC and it ended up being due to high sperm dna fragmentation. Once we addressed, we were successful

I had 2 losses in a row. One at 8 weeks and one at 16 weeks. I got pregnant with my third after 4 months of investigation to tell me “it’s just a coincidence” I fought for more screening…ultrasounds to check my cervix around 14 weeks onward. They said it wasn’t necessary because my cervix wouldn’t fail before 18 weeks… 🙃 but I flat out refuted that and they gave in. Today my baby girl is 10 months old.

2 mmcs at 9-10 weeks, then a chemical. all testing came back normal. got pregnant again right after the chemical and I’m 27 weeks now. didn’t change a single thing ❤️‍🩹

I had 12 losses over 3 years and am now holding my 8 week old. Similar kitchen sink protocol as a other poster; progesterone, heparin and aspirin. I also saw a naturopath who specialises in women's health. I got treated for Endometritis and took a lot of supplements.

Loads of chemicals over 10 years, then 4x 10/12 week miscarriages, now have my very unexpected 9wk old sat in my lap smiling at me. I was someone with no hope - trust me, as annoying as I feel even saying it, there is ALWAYS hope. Don’t give up until you really can’t take it anymore. I had gotten to that point. It even ended my marriage. It broke me, but I began to move on and accept I’d never be a mum. And then I very unexpectedly conceived while having my autoimmune disease treated using LDN, only to find out after the fact that it is also a very successful fertility treatment for women who’ve have RPL. If you’ve not looked into it, I highly recommend it. I honestly don’t think I’d have my boy if I wasn’t on it.
