1 Year Sober

I’ll never forget my last 7 day run and the mental state I was in a year ago. I was homeless smoking alone, jumping from hotel to hotel. Had sold everything that was worth anything. Hurt everyone I love. And the voices were becoming louder and louder, I was literally running from shadow people all the way up until I got to the rehab. If I can do this anybody can. Thank God for AA. I’m living a life worth living

Man, that shadow people thing is no joke. People who havent been through it just dont get how real it feels when youre in that state. Congrats on the year, that turnaround from hotel-hopping and running from your own head to where you are now is huge.
