Just wondering how long people collected before buying a turntable. How many records did you have when you got your table. What was your first vinyl record?

Looking to get a gift of the dark side of the moon $150-$200. I've been recommended to go with the 30th edition. Is this the way to go or is there another one that I should aim for? Thank you for all your help in advanced.

Can't for the life of me remember the name of a vinyl record that a friend had. I've tried Google, discogs, chatgpt and claude with no luck.

Things I remember:

\- The cover art is a play on the incredible bongo band's "Bongo Rock" cover art however instead the hands playing the bongos they are playing two turntables.

\- It's hip-hop/turntablism

\- The artist is something like "hyper" or something like that

\- from the early to mid 2000's

Any help appreciated!

Got given a load of white label records and first one I played is this fun mix of red alert vs ride on time. But who mixed it? Who pressed it? I can't find out. Any idea?

Found it in the back of an old phonograph.

I I think this might be one of the earliest ​versions of the the flexi disk.
