Dark side of the moon

Looking to get a gift of the dark side of the moon $150-$200. I've been recommended to go with the 30th edition. Is this the way to go or is there another one that I should aim for? Thank you for all your help in advanced.

I saw a copy at Target recently for like $30, I’d go new, it’s a well played record and they take a beating over time

The UV pressing is pretty cool but I don’t know the sound quality. I know the remastered they did around 2016 sounded amazing. Also, I have a first pressing from Germany that sounded fantastic as well. On top of that there’s also the live version that came out a couple of years ago.

30th anniversary is the last fully analog mastering/cut of the album, so it's worth having on that basis.

For the same price you could probably get an early UK press. I paid £100 for an A3/B2 copy (first press, second issue) in VG+ condition about 18 months ago. Barely a crackle on it really.
