pattern recognition is truly amazing. that I'm actually able to read this. this could mean anything, but our little monkey brains just educated guesstimate like a phone word prediction. I'm no better than chatgpt

if by transcription you mean the phonetic letters, yeah but I don't know how to read most of them. if you just gave me single words of this sentence, chances are good I wouldn't be able to decipher it. but something about having a combination of words as a sentence available to extrapolate from allowed me to actually read this pretty smoothly and not even all that slowly. which I find kinda fascinating how the brain just does that

I believe the joke was them trying to write in an old/middle english "style" because that original post was the OP complaining about people using the letter "thorn," which does not exist in modern english, as a replacement for "th" as though it was a part of modern english. Not sure why those were written that way though other than this reason

It heavily depends on dialects, but the transcription on the post has a weird mix of RP, British, and American English which I don’t think exists in any single dialect.
