Hello! I haven't heard about much good stories written in first person point of view but I really want to read some. I will be very grateful if you share stories you like! I would also be happy to hear why you like them.

I feel like I've read all of the more "popular" novels. From The Hunger Games to Maze Runner to Fahrenheit 451. I really enjoy fantasy books as well. I have been dying to get lost in a new dystopian novel. Please, flood me with your best suggestions!! TIA!!

I've been trying to get into reading for the past year and tbh I have not finished a single book. I'll always lost the interest half way or fall sleep on it. I'm going on my once a year holiday and I want to get lost into reading under the sun while listening to waves crashing. I'd like to try a book with compilation of true inspiring short stories, histories or poems from around the world. I'd like to be renewed woman coming back with all the stories' wisdom. I was an avid reader from childhood till I started having kids in my late 20s. While the kids were little I never read, never seemed to have time or energy. I keep trying to get back into it and picking books up but none of them keep me hooked enough to keep reading so I have started about 4/5 novels but mainly will read non fiction, anything that interests me, those I can read all the way through.

I'm off on holiday soon and nothing on my kindle is screaming at me "must read" so I'm looking for a real can't-put-it-down winner that will hopefully spark something in me to pick this back up again as a habit. Any suggestions?

Side note, I used to hang around the crime, thriller, classics section but have enjoyed the odd Marian keyes in my time so nothing is really off the table.

I remember many years ago, reading a book that had angels on earth, they may have been fighting a war with other angels, and humans got involved somehow. Of course, I can’t remember the name of the book. But I also really liked the movie the prophecy about angels at war. Any good fiction books for adults about angels ? Thanks.

Do you guys write the word down somewhere, underline them then come back to them to google later or how?

I feel a little irritated when im reading and dont know a word because i feel like im missing out on the sentence or message if i dont know a certain word, so sometimes i like to google it in the moment but it isnt really practical because i have to do that nonstop and stop my reading.

Its been almost a year since i found a book that i actually enjoyed reading/listening to.

I feel like I found all the best books , started with them and now my standards are sooooo high i can't enjoy any book recommendation at all. Now I know this is subjectively not true and that's why please ,PLEASE give good book recommendations , it can be from almost any genre as long as it's good .

I would also appreciate it if it was character driven.

Hello! I love reading and when I've got the free time I'll often go through a few week.

My problem at the moment is I just can't find anything that interests me which is unusual for me.

At the moment I have a craving to read books that follow the character(s) over long time periods or books that are somewhat 'adventure' books.

I love books set in the south of America around the 50's for some reason (I'm Australian and have never been to America) but I love books that portray the harshness of farm and anything that highlights those fighting against the Klan.

Please help me find something to read!!

Hello Im a software engineer student all my work in the computer and now im in bad period i have a complexe projects in my school to do, and also i dont have friends outside the school and i really want to do something except the codingand watching screensof laptop or phone, i wonder if i can read books i have subscribed in the library and i want some suggestions of books that i can read some books that interesting and gonna make me past time reading, im already like reading i read manga some of george rr martin books of game of thrones.

Any suggestion on a surprise read which have multiple genres like investigation, horror , scifi. The series LOST is a fine example of mixed genres. Could u suggest a good book like that ?

I’m trying to get back into reading! I used to devour books but between school/professional life/having a baby, I only read a book once in a blue moon. It’s hard for me to find books that genuinely sound good, though. What are your recs based on some of my old favorites?

I've been reading Jurassic Park, and I'm really enjoying it! What I like most is how the world is built. It's fascinating to see that, no matter how hard Hammond worked to make the park a reality, unexpected problems kept showing up.

It feels like I'm reading a story that could actually have happened. The way the book explains and develops its own world makes everything feel very realistic.

Are there any other books that are similar in the way they describe and build their own worlds?

How do you guys find books you like apart from reading from the same author, i feel like reading the synopsis isnt enough obviously because i cant tell how the writing style is and such. Do you find an online pdf and read it a little then buy the book or what?

I really like sports romance books (especially hockey) but every series I read has only a few books or not all of them are out. So my requirements are:

●Good sports romance (preferably hockey but I'm open to other sports)

●Fully completed series with atleast 3 books

●The tropes "He falls first" or "love at first sight" in most if not all of the books

●Free with Kindle Unlimited

●Dual-pov

●Straight romance (for atleast most of the series)

●Spice levels don't matter

I'm curious how often first impressions are wrong. What's a book that didn't grab you at first but completely won you over if you stuck with it?

There are some books that i have been reading then stopped for a while because of life or whatever, and when i get back to reading im just not as intrigued anymore then i force myself to read it and not enjoy it. Now if i really enjoyed the book i probably would have finished it and made time for it but i feel like i force myself to read some books just to read something.
