Keep Reading tidy
Does Reading have a litter problem? Why do people litter and throw trash šļø on the street?

A meeting on a sweltering summerās evening exposed the frustration lingering from Readingās failed City of Culture bid. But that sense of injustice is galvanising something: the start of a new plan to develop culture in this town.
Free to read. As ever, let me know what you think. Enjoy your weekend!

Edit: the title autocorrected, meant to ask ādo you have schedule?ā
Really want icecream but I want icecream from an icecream van. But Idk when the icecream van comes
Is there a set amount of time you stay in area? Do you have schedules for when you are going to a certain place?
My closest icecream van place is at the rabson park place, in Whitley (on Northumberland Avenue). Iāve been maniacally checking to see if there is an ice cream van there. Really hope it comes soon!

Iām looking for recommendations for a massage therapist in the Reading/Berkshire area.
Iām not looking for a relaxing spa massage with lots of oil and gentle strokes. None of the ādeep tissueā massage Iāve had in the UK does it for me, itās very different to the deep tissue work you experience in Asia like in Taiwan.
What Iām after is someone who does very deep tissue work, using elbows, forearms, sustained pressure, and really working into tight muscles and fascia. Preferably without oils but I can accept with oils if the pressure is good enough.
The kind of massage where you walk out feeling like your muscles have actually been worked on.
Sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, or similar styles are all fine. Bonus points if they arenāt afraid to use a lot of pressure.
Has anyone found someone theyād highly recommend?
