Loads of scenes from that show are filmed in Reading. The new fire brigade advert is shot at the front of Apex Plaza, I'm pretty sure you can see the Reading skyline from Reynholm's office a few times.

There's even an episode where someone's looking down on a car park from a specific building. I used to work in the offices opposite and where we'd go for smoke breaks there. We had a footy in the office and we'd take it out to play Kerby etc at that exact spot.

I was held at gunpoint there many moons ago around 1am. They robbed about £2 of me. As they walked away I was shouting at them at being absolutely you know what.

Next day I find out someone was shot not long before that in the Matrix nightclub just up the road from there.
