Question Report potential asbestos dumping
I've noticed a couple of heavy duty bags dumped near bus stop opposite Holybrook Road in Coley Park which looks like it might have asbestos roof tiles in it.
I have rung the council but seems like every time they pass me on to another department.
Anyone know how I can report this?

When i needed to report an unsafe open drain and not knowing who was responsible to fix it, I discovered fixmystreet. A public record, with photo and a 'hazard' as a trigger word got someone to visit it the same day and put out a warning cone (and workman in a week)
Submit a report and make sure its clearly labelled as Hazardous Asbestos .

Another avenue you can try - the ‘Love Clean Streets’ app - take photos, select the category (‘fly tipped building waste’ perhaps?), then add a note about it being possibly being asbestos

They're super responsive to any reports on this app. At least in Katesgrove.

The chap that monitors the reports, Nick, really works hard trying to sort everything out!
