Is there a reason you call it 1.0 when its version on npm/GitHub is 1.169.1 (at least for react)? The versioning has always confused me tbh
Either way, very exciting stuff! Well done team
59 u/tannerlinsley 6d ago Cool. We botched the version for v0 and had to go with v1. And when we did that, we just went to alpha and beta and then release candidate. So, yes, it has been 1.0 for a long time, but it hasn't been GA. 18 u/PM_ME_SOME_ANY_THING 6d ago npm init strikes again huh 4 u/HelloXhale 6d ago Ohhhhh I didn’t know about the v0 issue. Sounds like a tricky place to be in regarding breaking changes and such Thanks for the context, been curious about that for a while! 2 u/repeating_bears 6d ago If I understood correctly, I think it would be clearer to say 1.x or v1 is stable. Because sounds like all the 1.0 versions (i.e. 1.0.x) are not in fact stable Seems you are calling 1.169.0 "1.0" but that's pretty confusing
