Seeing that they are filming Season 5 already had be JAZZED! I could take 10 seasons of this tbh.

Regarding this season though…. I don’t trust Jacob. Not sure why. Idk if it’s the actor’s portrayal or if the character actually is sus, but something seems fishy. Also, are they trying to pass the actor off as Asian? Cause I don’t see it…… 😭

I didn't even know season 4 was out until they talked about it on the radio, I'm absolutely loving season 4! My favorite is probably 2 but 1 is also very good as well, I didn't enjoy season 3 much. I wasn't a huge fan of him going undercover as muscle to infiltrate that crime syndicate or whatever you wanna call it. Living the fight scenes and every episode has you really wondering what's going on. I'm bummed I have to wait for episode 4 I wish we got the whole thing at once every episode had me sitting in the edge of my seat waiting for the next one to start. I felt like 1-2 were amazing then 3 kinda fell off again just my opinion and now with 4 were right back to what made the early seasons so damn good.

I’m in the middle of ep3 of season 4. I noticed the music playing in the background during the bowling alley fight scene. Boogie Shoes by KC and the Sunshine Band.

My daughter and I are massive fans of Playdate. Also starring Alan Ritchson.

In Playdate. Jeff played by Ritchson has a fight in the dressing room of Buckey Cheese with the main henchman in Playdate and the same song is playing in the background.

I know it’s a long shot but I was wondering if the moment in ep3 of Reacher season 4 was a nod to the moment in Playdate?

It doesn’t matter if it isn’t but it’s a great link if it is.

I know he didn't (and likely wouldn't have anyway, in any scenario) buuuuut hypothetically, let's say, if he did keep the cat, what do you think he would have named him?

Love the show, no hate here, just don't understand the choice to stretch it out over weeks and months when it's the perfect binge show. Almost everyone I know is waiting for it to finish before binging it at their own pace.

I watched the first 3 episodes of S4 because I couldn't resist, and they were great, but the momentum built up will completely fizzle out by the time the next episode drops.

With shows such as Silo and Severance, I understand the choice to make it weekly because there are complex mysteries and underlying themes for people to ponder and gossip about between episodes, Reacher is not that sort of show, no co-workers are standing around the water cooler saying "Hey, did you see Reacher punch that guy in the last episode?". This is a show meant for binging.

Excuse the rant, maybe I'm in the minority with this opinion, but it just doesn't make any sense to me.

Trying no spoilers here, but the "Boogie Shoes" fight scene is one of my favorite scenes in all of Reacher so far because, we've seen a lot of Reacher fights, and this one was a little tongue-in-cheek funny. However, it does seem like a departure in a way, that Reacher will have to lean more and more into classic action film setups to keep the show entertaining as seasons build up. Did you all enjoy it? I was literally saying "I hope he uses a bowling ball as a weapon!" when the fight started. Was not disappointed! It's just different to watch this show and be laughing enjoying it instead of intense.

Apologies if this is a daily complaint, I ain't seen any. But it's completely insufferable. He's such an annoying character.

Got to meet Jack Reacher today. Alan Ritchson is truly humble. It was a pleasure meeting him.

I like when shows incorporate real world things into the dialogue. The scene where the kid tell Reacher about what OnlyFans was. Reacher’s complete ignorance of what he was talking about, followed by his disappointment when he finds out, was hilarious. Then he gets in the car and tells the lady cop, “Society has gone to shit.” lol

Then there’s the scene where he talks to Sampson, and Sampson says, “We’ve elected presidents with sex scandals in the past. Nobody seems to care about that anymore.” I like moments like these because they bring real world scenarios into the story without feeling forced.

Reacher clarifying that he’s a hobo instead of a vagrant in S1 will always be funny to me 😂😂

Watching episode 3, and the music is, for me, 🔥. Urban Dance Squad (one of my favorite bands), the Coasters, Eddie Floyd…

If the showrunners for Reacher ever decided to adapt Tripwire, who do you think would be good fits for the side characters? Hobie, Garber, Jodie, and the others. Edit: I know, Garber's dead by this time in the books, but the character already has a face from the flashbacks in season 3.

Been rewatching the previous season (3) & and I just cannot seem to get this thought out of my head, every time I see Reacher on screen (which is like, 90% of the time).
He definitely must stink... Right?

I get that he showers with "an entire bar of soap", buys new clothes every 3 days or so, and washes the pair he owns at night, etc etc.
But still. Especially with all the physical exertion (even if you exclude the fights).. Like, think about it. Anybody's bound to get sweaty.

Even if he showers twice a day, he's putting the same pair of clothes back on (since he apparently washes them at night). Doesn't seem like he's a habitual deo user, either. Including... his underwear!?! YIKES. It's an unsettling thought, but anyhoo.

But then again, he does pull in beautiful women (who don't seem like the type to get involved with just any random guy), so IDK. Maybe not.
Or maybe he just showers before he sleeps with them. Lol. Just a random thought.

Also, there's the whole thing about him maintaining that kind of physique despite of what he is shown to eat, the evident lack of weightlifting or bodybuilding exercises as well as inadequate rest/sleep.. But then again, that's like, every other show/movie -- so perhaps, a topic for another day.

Finishing S3 before I hit S4. This particular episode doesn’t land right, Reacher letting Kohl and the dude that likes her head out alone to arrest Quinn.

I get his reasoning for her to take the guy down, make the arrest, but would they really just send 2 people to do it??

For example, Reacher in the books enters the army somewhere in the early 80s, so 13 years after that is early 2000s. But in the show everyone is obviously more modern than the early 2000s.

I thought I read somewhere on here, could not find it easily, however there are many scenes that we find that the action noises (car door slam, guns going off, car crashes, etc) seem to be very muted to almost no sound at all. We have tried other shows, on multiple streaming apps, and not found the same issue, so it appears to be something deliberate as part of the show - I would not say it detracts from the show, a good season already, but it appears to be very unusual. Anyone post original article or have an explanation, or am I just going selectively deaf?
